Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since my feet get sweaty. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Would you buy again?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also look great.
